Make Major News: Kill Bill O’Reilly Edition
* Just in case Nas’ “Sly Fox” didn’t make it crystal clear, “Kill Bill O’Reilly,” a new track by new rappers East Coast Avengers, goes a step further proving hip-hop and the Fox News talking head don’t exactly see eye to eye. This story/song is blowing up pretty rapidly on both hip-hop and political blogs alike. Conservative blowhard Michelle Malkin, also threatened in the song, doesn’t seem too impressed. Stream the song on their MySpace or download it here. And check these lyrics, yo: “Fuck making fun of you in punch lines, I’d rather kill your family in front of you by lunch time.”[MySpace][Zshare via 2dopeboyz]
* Steven Wells still hates Los Campesinos. People still hate Steven Wells. The world turns. [The Quietus][Drowned in Sound]
* That cut Ghostface Killah cameo in Ironman? It’s made its way online. [Nah Right]
* How do Katy Perry’s Christian conservative parents feel about her smash hit single “I Kissed a Girl”? Like this: “Katy is our daughter and we love her but we strongly disagree with how she is conducting herself at the moment. We cannot cut her out of our lives as she is our child but she knows we disagree strongly with what she is doing and the message she is promoting regarding homosexuality which the Bible clearly states is a sin.” [Daily Mail]

O’Reilly is a voice for many people who agree with him and his beliefs. Vilifying one person is laziness.
