Paula Abdul Superfan Rush Rushes To Her Death
American Idol traffics in exploiting the ambitious overconfidence that it engenders, and is in that way sort of a self-fulfilling little nasty machine. After failing on the show in Season 5 (and being mocked for her appearance and performance) Paula Goodspeed was found dead outside Abdul’s house on Tuesday. Idolator makes a good point: will the editors consider this type of thing when they edit the next season? The whole situation is pretty sad.
