Lil’ Wayne Leaks
So “Prom Queen” — the new single from Lil’ Wayne’s promised “rock album” Rebirth (out on April 7th) — leaked all over the Internets this weekend … and I’m sure the Weezy camp had absolutely nothing to do with that. The tune’s indeed pretty rock, albeit in that poppy radio-polish kinda way, with lots of crunchy guitars and big drums and Lil’ Wayne singing (not rapping) about heartbreak and such. We’d link you to a YouTube clip of the song so you can hear for yourself, but they keep getting taken down by the site almost as quickly as they’re posted, so you’ll hafta head over there yourself and be quick on the “Prom Queen” search trigger. Or you can just wait until tomorrow, when the song’s posted at Lil’ Wayne’s MySpace page.
