Breakfast At Sulimay’s Getting Some Well Deserved Stereogum Love Right Now
True story: This weekend we went to Ikea for some half off bookshelf special and free breakfast (times is tough) and, while there, who might we see getting her free vittles on but irascible Ann from adorable video review series Breakfast At Sulimay’s. We have loved BaS for a very, very long time, and we went up to Ann in between bites of free scrambled eggs and told her as much like the supercreepyfans we are. Ann, swallower of teabags (1:48), seemed tickled pink that someone recognized her while out and about, and we’ve got news for her: It’s going to start happening quite a bit. It’s only up from here for Breakfast At Sulimay’s. It’s the special kind of show that warms the heart of anyone who watches it, which is no doubt why the Stereogum post about the show has inched ever upward as one of its “Most Commented” and “Most Viewed” current posts.
