Vic Chesnutt Coming To Philly With Fugazi’s Guy Picciotto In His Band…Check Out A New Song!
This new Vic Chesnutt album At the Cut that we told you about last week looks really cool, and now the news gets even better: Vic’s coming to First Unitarian Church on October 28th in support of it, and his live band will include Fugazi guitarist Guy Picciotto, as well as members of Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Silver Mt. Zion, all of whom appear on the album (due September 22nd). It should be fascinating to see the wheelchair-bound Chesnutt playing alongside the notoriously spastic Picciotto onstage (though who knows, perhaps the latter will tone down his usual approach for this project).
