Drink Up Buttercup Gets The Andrew W.K. Treatment
You know you’ve hit the big time when Andrew W.K. is remixing one of your songs, right? So it goes for Philly’s own Drink Up Buttercup, whose new single “Even Think” has gotten the remix treatment from the white-clad party rocker. Check it out (courtesy of Stereogum): “Even Think”
Meanwhile, Drink Up Buttercup continues to build a national audience with a new East Coast tour starting next week, opening first for Blood Warrior and then Stellastarr. Kung Fu Necktie Johnny Brenda’s hosts the Drink Up Buttercup/Blood Warrior show on November 11th. The band’s Yep Roc Records debut album is slated for release in early 2010.
