Good Cause Alert: Coats For Kids

extraordinaires

It’s starting to get cold and blustery outside, which means there’s no time like the present to start providing winter clothes to those Philadelphia residents in need this year. To that end, there’s a Coats For Kids benefit show on Friday, November 13th at the Rotunda (4014 Walnut St.) featuring four excellent Philly acts: Conversations With Enemies, the Extraordinaires, Agent Moosehead, and members of the Paul Green School of Rock.

There is no cover charge, but everyone coming down is asked to bring a new or gently used winter coat, hat, set of gloves, scarf, etc. (children’s, young adults, and teenagers sizes) for donation, or give $10 toward the purchase of such items. All donations will go directly to Covenant House, the Red Shield, and Women Against Abuse.

The Coats For Kids benefit show runs from 7:15 p.m. until 11 p.m.
