Alanis Morissette: Phillies Good Luck Charm?
Not sure why they had Alanis Morissette singing the National Anthem before the Phillies game last night, when they could’ve had native Philly performers like Patti LaBelle, Hall & Oates, or even Will Smith (THAT might’ve been interesting) doing it. Plus, she’s Canadian (although then again, so’s Matt Stairs) and probably rooted hard for the Blue Jays in ‘93. But hell, you can’t argue with the results. Maybe the Fightins should adopt Alanis as a good luck charm and bring her back up to the Bronx with them. Whatever works.
