This Just In: Philly Rocks For Haiti Benefit Concert

WXPN, the Philadelphia Folksong Society, and the Troc are teaming up for the Philly Rocks for Haiti benefit concert at the Troc on Thursday, February 4th starting at 7 p.m.

Some pretty big-time Philly acts on the bill: Dance-rockers Free Energy, soul-rockers Black Landlord, the West Philadelphia Orchestra, Get the Led Out (who will do a special acoustic performance) and Blood Feathers (who will also play acoustic). There will also be an afterparty in the Troc balcony with DJ Jersey Dan. Special guests are also promised.

Admission is $12 — you can get tickets at the door the night of the show, or in advance at the Troc’s website. BTW, the show is all-ages; the afterparty is 21+.

All money raised will go to the Haitian Professionals of Philadelphia, who will ship supplies directly to Haiti.
