Pains Of Being Pure At Heart Coming To Pilam
We’ve really missed seeing shows at West Philly’s Pilam house, as they seem to have become a rarity, so we’re glad to report on a biggie coming up in a few weeks. None other than NYC noise-pop phenoms the Pains of Being Pure at Heart will be headlining on Friday, October 22nd, with opening sets from two great local bands — the Homophones and Creepoid — plus New Jersey/U.K./Japan combo Yuck. This has all the makings of a killer show, and yes, it’s all-ages. We haven’t yet found out how much it costs or what the deal is with tickets, but we imagine that as usual, if you show up early enough with a few bucks in your pocket you’ll probably be able to get in. And hopefully Omar won’t be there…
