Monday Morning Comedown: New Videos by Björk, No Age, EMA, The-Dream, and Wise Blood
Five new videos that have recently made the rounds at MMM’s Headquarters. We hope they make your Monday morning less hellish and more righteous.
Björk – Moon: This new clip from Björk’s upcoming Biophilia is… guess what? Sorta weird. Actually, not really. It’s exactly what everyone expects from her. Neat costume. Cool wig. The crazy vocal thing she does.
No Age – Inflorescence: Remember this LA rock duo? It’s been a while since they’ve done anything of importance, so probably not. Gay cowboys do zany, Little Miss Sunshine/Garden State-sorta stuff, end up at a No Age concert, and then get on stage. I don’t get it.
EMA – Marked: For a tune off 2011’s Past Life Martyred Saints, this vid shows EMA chief Erika M Anderson wearing some really cool and sexy clothes while singing about how her arms are made of plastic. So kooky!
The-Dream – Long Gone: I still call The-Dream the “Love King,” but his real name is Terius Nash, and he released a free mixtape called 1977 under that name, and this tune’s from it.
Wise Blood – Nosferatu: This is the first band named after a Flannery O’Connor book, probably. This video has a real Twilight vibe. Can’t wait for Breaking Dawn.
