The Dirty Projectors Announce North American Tour And Finish It Up In Philadelphia
In the ever-exciting rollout of announcements for spring and summer tours, Philadelphia’s been landing some great names. We got Madge to open her North American leg(s) of her tour here in Philly and have now been blessed with an appearance from Lady Apple at the Tower. And now we can add the always-artsy super-fun Dirty Projectors to the list. They’ll be supporting their highly-anticipated album, Swing Lo Magellan, out July 10th on Domino. They were at the Trocadero a couple summers ago and put on a KILLER set. This is not to be missed.
They’ll conclude their tour with a last stop on August 18th at our Union Transfer with the help of WYE OAK. Awesome. In the meantime, DO check out the new song, “Gun Has No Trigger.” Furthermore, the song that Diplo uses for his UK/EU tour promo video is a lady from Dirty Projectors, Amber Coffman, singing her pretty little heart out with a previewed version of “Get Free.” Watch it below:
