There Are A Couple Of Excellent Queer Things You Should Take Yourself To This Week
Tonight is STASH ATTACK! And Oscar Wildchilde’s put together a slew of queens for you to gag on upstairs at Woody’s. Their Tuesday night party is always a fun weeknight option, especially when it’s free to get in and you can drink $1 PBRs until midnight. But this appears to be an extra-special Stash with the usual suspects getting the audience jumpin’ jumpin’: Xavier B, Suga Shay, DJ CNNR and a special guest spot from DJ J++ (that’s m’boy Javas). Some familiar (beat) faces will be there to delight your drag cravings: Porcelain, Ginger Alley, Sooshi Harajuku and some new girls, Emily Dee and Zoe Labianca. Plus the drag king prowess of Chaz Csaz, who does a killer Bieber. Oscar’s always got a few tricks up his sleeve, including a water gun full of vodka and a voguing contest. It’s a messy blast.
THEN, on Thursday, you can see Tammy Faymous throw a gay party at PYT in the Piazza she’s calling #faymeproblems. It’s a back room buckwild blowout with jello shots, $1 PBRs, $3 wells, plus drag and dancing. In the building will be: Serena Starr, Ginger Alley, se7en, Chaz Csaz, Stephanie Chic with DJs Xavier B. and J++. Tammy’s always good for some drama and with her big mouth, she’ll probably have spread the word on this one so hard that the attendance will be better than most PYT events. And perhaps all the gays will be scaring away all the straight straighties that often populate the Piazza with their sports-watching and baseball cap-wearing. True to Tammy form, she was on us like white on rice to get this show talked about.
