Fall Music Preview Of Albums Through September; There’s Very Little Live Music In Philadelphia This Week

Greetings friends. We’re looking at a pretty paltry week for Philadelphia this second-to-last week of August. There’s a firestorm of some gooden’s coming before August is over, but, yeah, we’re seeing something happen here. Summer’s coming to a close. People are starting school already. Teachers are back in classrooms. Philadelphians will, less and less, be going ‘Down the shore’ for the next few weeks. Sweaters will be purchased. More jeans will be worn. Shorts and tank tops will be put away. We’re not ready to be talking about Halloween and Christmas, already, but, ya know. Brace yourselves for the truth. You have maybe three more beach weekends left in the year.
That being said. Here are some records to look forward to, due out in the next six weeks. September’s JAM-PACKED. But let’s not talk about October yet. That’s too far away. Bolded are the records that really makes us giddy with anticipation.
