September’s Live Music Bookings In Philly Are Going Out With A Whimper, But October’s Got Some Bite
Even though, Union Transfer’s finishing up a big week with Grimes tonight, and this week we hosted The Gossip, Twin Shadow and Wild Nothing, bookings at the TLA, The Troc, and World Cafe feel pretty Weak with a capital W. The Tower goes out with a bang with David Byrne and St. Vincent tonight and a fizzle with a return from Gotye on the 29th. But upon perusing the Tower’s upcoming October shows, we got our hearts racing with this one: Powerhouse 2012: Throw Back Show with SWV, Jagged Edge, Ginuwine and 112! HOLY CRAP. That looks amazing. Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 25th and start growing out your nails and pressing your overalls. Here’s a quick little rundown of some October dates to keep your eyes on.
