Tonight At Woody’s Is Going To Be One Messy-Ass Birthday Party
Not sure if you’ve caught the multiple references we’ve made in the past year to the little weirdo queer party that could, Stash, on Tuesday nights upstairs at Woody’s, but tonight they celebrate a birthday. It was a year ago that, as they like to say, bad decisions started getting made with more frequency earlier in the week. And, it seems, tonight they’ll share the second floor with their big sister’s party in the main room, Double Dutch. And holy Hell is there a lot going on at these two parties.
In the suite, where it belongs, is Stash with DJs Xavier B, J++, Suga Shay and DJ CNNR. Looks like we’ll also get some performances from Oscar Wildechild, Porcelain and Tammy Faymous. In the main room, it’s the other birthday girl and always-dressed-right-and-tight Gun$ Garcia. Joining her on the decks’ll be Ultraviolet and Yolo Ono. A performance in the main room will come from Wavy Spice, a new talent who exploded with a track called “Bitch I’m Posh” (see below). To be noted: Gun$s and Double Dutch have been pulling in fresh, up-and-coming talent for a minute or two – last October they actually got Ms. Azaelia Banks. In fact, they must believe in this posh bad bitch because they’re kind of naming this party after her – see what’s happening now?
The whole thing’s hosted by Ethel Cee and Beyonce Wilson with a hot body contest, nails did by Nail Tite and socialite Facebook photos provided by Did I Shutter. It’s $3 to get in, which isn’t bad for two parties and all these performances. But to make matters worse (or better?), there are $5 doubles all night, $5 Jameson city-wides, and $1 PBRs ’til midnight.
