Tonight At The Fire, Cruiser Shares A Bill With Suburban Living, Swiss Alps And Ghost Ship

Once upon a time, we sang the praises of Andy States’ solo EP – he calls himself Cruiser. Remember? We listened to it so much we started to be able to sing along. It’s that good and it’s that much fun. One thing we’ve always wondered was: when you gonna do us right and put on a proper show? Well, tonight’s the night. We hope it goes extremely well and the Facebook invite promises a good showing for a Fire show.
A few links: Cruiser’s bandcamp, Suburban Living’s (VA) bandcamp, Swiss Alps’ (PHILLY surftwee) bandcamp, and Ghost Ship’s (Allentown shoegaze) bandcamp. One of the most promising aspects of this collection of bands is that it looks like they’re mostly new bands, young bands with EPs that they’re almost definitely pumped to turn out in a live context. That’s not to say that they’re amateurs, but earnest and eager and ready to prove that they’re ready to blast off. So that means you can say, when they start getting booked at bigger and bigger venues and get an LP off the ground, that you saw them way back when they were just getting started at the Fire.
