DAILY GRINDER: 7 Counties To Determine Pennsylvania Vote, Possibly Election
Pennsylvania pollster Terry Madonna says there are seven Pennsylvania counties that will determine whether Obama or Romney wins the state—and, based on how things go elsewhere, the election. Those counties do not include Philadelphia, but do include Bucks, Montgomery, Chester and Delaware.

Philadelphia Police Officer Bridgette Paris was arrested for “allegedly stealing from a toy store.” Beyond that, it’s a bit of a mystery, but her charges include “retail theft, unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, forgery” and the 14-year veteran will be suspended for 30 days with intent to dismiss.
And two more Philadelphia area priests have been ousted for sexual misconduct. They are Monsignor George Mazzotta and Monsignor Hugh Campbell, both of whom have been found “not suitable for ministry.”
There will be protests. Tomorrow. Afternoon. At 15th and JFK. The blue collar union—Local 32BJ SEIU—representing 3,000 bus drivers, janitors and other blue collar workers, are also unhappy about Corbett’s cuts to the Philadelphia school district and want to make their position known. Thousands are expected in Center City.
Councilman Bill Green has a calculator on his website that will give you hard numbers on the potential AVI plan on residential and commercial tax bills. Green’s plan would shift property tax assessments from residential and commercial to just commercial property.
The city’s ban on mass outdoor feedings begins on June 1.
