Super Sonic

No big plans this weekend?  Philly Fringe Fest and backyard bbqs seeming a little highbrow for your tastes?

Then head on over to the new Sonic in Bensalem (north on 95, exit Street Rd, turn left, after a few lights you’ll see it on the right).  If you’re from PA, you’re probably familiar with the TV ads that have tormented us for months but totally unfamiliar with the fast food yumminess.  Well, get ready, it’s good stuff! Tater tots, burgers, onion rings, malts, sodas…and…here’s the real show stopper…THEY USE CRUSHED ICED IN THE FOUNTAIN DRINKS.

My expert suggestion (I’m a Texas native so, believe me, I’m a Sonic EXPERT): Cherry Limeade.  The diet Cherry Limeade is yum too.  Real maraschino cherries and lime wedges.  And crushed ice, of course!
