The “Bucklette” has me paralyzed

To the etched birds and ancient-looking heavy metal, my brain goes, “YES!” To the fanny-packishness: NO! To the idea of not lugging around a huge bag with too many pockets that I set on fire accidentally but still use and actually lost my blackberry INSIDE it for 20 minutes this morning: YES!

It’s from Sandy Alexander, founder of Philly’s Dessa Lea Productions and former creative director of Comcast. (Pre-Comcastic?)

Part belt buckle, part purse (though there’s a clip-on one), I’m not sure if the world is ready for Bucklette. But maybe they’re more decisive than me, in which case, I’m wondering how this is gonna go over.

Thoughts?

I do tend to be decisive – and as soon as I saw this I knew I had to have one. I was constantly carrying stuff around in my pockets when I go out at night (and of course, always losing things). Best part about this? The sturdy construction – so I always know it’s there (it can’t get accidentally knocked off without me knowing). And I love the design. An eye catcher – everyone always asks about it.

HOTNESS!!!!!!!!! I love this thing. I am so sick of searching through my bag, especially just to run into the store, to pay for gas or something. So I bought this, when i was actually looking for a clutch. It’s really cute, and more than sturdy. If you don’t try to stuff it with the entire contents of your purse, your good, it doesn’t fly open at all. I disagree with the fanny pack thing too. I shudder at the thought, but you can clip it anywhere, its’ way cuter than those ugly cell phone cases clipped to everyone’s belt loops and no bigger than a sidekick. Just my opinion, but if your a busy girl, that can dare to be different, check it out.

A nice idea but it would be nice to glam it up a bit such as with Swarovski crystals.
