Things I Use Because They Can’t Hurt
Daily multivitamins
The way I see it, my personal health care equation reads like this: Alcohol + Tobacco + Cheese + Peanut Butter + All Other Unhealthy Habits = STILL NOT ENOUGH TO OVERCOME MY DAILY MULTIVITAMIN.
Aveeno Ultra-calming Facial Lotion
Mmm. Yes. Calm me, lotion gods.

Colorful sweaters
I have several that I adore from Uniqlo in New York that were reasonably priced, and J.Crew always shows up with some good ones that nobody buys and I get on sale around February. Wintertime blues call for jewel tones and produce-inspired colors like ruby and eggplant. Plus, red looks great with my brown hair.
www.yogatoday.com
I love yoga, but it sometimes seems like a rich-yuppie-suburban-mom thing to do, and I’d rather rip off a dozen bandaids than attend a PTA meeting. I start imagining myself driving a Suburban full of soccer gear, looking up recipes that include breakfast cereals and crying into my morning Earl Grey. This website spares me the self-loathing. It’s free, and as Neesha always reminds me: “Strength cultivates freedom and deliiight!”

Wool socks
A nice thin-knit grey or black is perfect. It’s cold, fools!
