Today in local craftiness: a gift for a lady who loves her dog but also loves art brut, opera mustaches, wedding invitations are gorgeous if you can afford them and Washington, Washing-TON.

It may be a bit too late to get one of these for Mother’s Day, but if you’ve got a dog-lady birthday coming up in the future, send konane a photo of her favorite doggie and 60 bucks and you get a hand-painted scarf that… I can’t believe I’m saying this, but actually looks pretty modern and cool despite having a pet and its name on it. As much as my general dislike of mustaches has been mentioned here before, I was just having a conversation the other night about how much a friend of mine would enjoy having an opera mustache, and when one turned up in my etsy scourings it was too much of a coincidence to pass up.
