What To Do This Weekend
Ah, the mysterious gods of getting-a-great-tan seem to be smiling upon us this weekend. The forecast predicts lots o’ sunshine and springtime temps that never dip under 75– so happy campers are we, in PW Styleblog Land.
It’s almost time to go on a Friday… and even though you have two excel docs open at your desk– you can’t fool us. Here’s our compilation of What To Do This Weekend, since it’s what you’re all really thinking about.
FRIDAY:
//H Clothier’s Trunk Show @ BUS STOP “H Clothier’s Hung Duong has designed a unique limited edition Spring collection exclusively for BUS STOP! Some of you may know Hung from his “Lele” days… A collection of spring dresses, skirts, jersey tops, denim skirts – all designed especially for you! And we haven’t forgotten the men in Philly – handmade linen shirts! H Clothier is located on historic Pine Street in Center City and has been designing custom clothing since 2006 at this location”
I used to live on Antique Row down the street from H Clothier and walking by the window each week was the highlight of walking home. If Hung Doung floats your boat the same way he floats mine, make sure you take a trip to BUS STOP from 5:30pm – 8:30pm! Get more info here.
BUS STOP is located at:
750 S. 4th Street, Philadelphia
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY:
Regional Air Guitar Championship at The Kyhber. Awesome, totallllllyy!! Just in case anyone didn’t get the memo, the Philadelphia Regional US Air Guitar championships are happening on Saturday at The Kyhber. Shake your mane and attack the air with all 5-fingers if you dare: it’s 20 dollars for tix! Check out the national blog here. And remember: Air roadies are allowed, but must leave the stage before the performance.
And this is kind of a big deal:
The 2009 Art Star Craft Bazaar The 2009 Art Star Craft Bazaar has coommmmmme! I’m dancing in my seat because everything handmade and interesting is happening this weekend on Saturday and Sunday at Penn’s Landing’s Great Plaza. Art Star Gallery is hosting 100+ artists and vendors from all over the city, coast and country.
So yeah, it’s worth being excited over if you enjoy all things etsy! Like I said– it’s kind of a big deal. Time Out New York even gave the Art Star Bazaar a great shout out (but we all know Philly is more than the 6th borough!) on their website. Be sure to run, skip, jump, SEPTA your way there between 11am to 6pm to catch the crafts, live music and nibbles. I also heard that 250 free giveaway bags will be floating around… Hope to see you there!

I am pretty ridiculously psyched for Art Star Craft Bazaar.
