This past weekend, I was at the shore. While the waves are relaxing and the sand between your toes is awesome, I’m going to go ahead and say that the style at the shore is a little lacking. Everyone seems to wear the same thing. While the kids and dogs in this NBC10 slideshow look cute, I can’t say the same for the adults. They should check out this slideshow from Cosmo, offering alternatives to beach coverups and cut off shorts with an open button.

Also, here are some celeb bathing suit pictures to get you back on track on your diet post July 4th. I know I need inspiration after this weekend…if that’s not enough celebs for you, here are some celebs and their pets.

Another celeb worth glancing at this morning is Jessica Simpson. I call her out when her outfits look bad, but InStyle magazine and I agree – she looked cute this past weekend.

Since I hate rules, I’m really glad that Net-A-Porter has gone ahead and said that black with blue is okay.
