Geepers Peepers

I like my glasses, but sometimes they make me a little self concious.  One time I was walking around and I swear some guy shouted ‘Hey Old Lady!’ I was a little caught off guard to say the least. More recently during Pride Weekend a flamboyant guy told me that ‘Glasses are having a moment.’ I like to agree with that comment more than the former.

Dan Levy of The Hills Aftershow seems to agree as well. In his newsletter from this week, he lists his favorite places to get frames and lenses from.

One of the shops, Oliver Peoples he suggests has the sunglasses from from (500) Days of Summer Star, Zooey Deschanel. I’m not sure how I feel about Zooey’s character in (500) Days of Summer, but I do know that I love the glasses that bare Zooey’s name. Also, Leighton Meester has been spotted wearing glassses. Having a moment? I’d say so.
