Celebrate Fashion and Design Tonight in Old City

oldcity_design_night

You can go ahead and forget about doing whatever it is that you normally do on a Wednesday night because from 5:30-8:30 p.m, more than 20 businesses in Old City will be taking part in a Design and Fashion Night.

In celebration of all things design-inspired, furniture showrooms, salons, art galleries and fashion boutiques will be hosting various events, both public and private. Three participating restaurants—Bistro 7, DiNardo’s Famous Seafood and Ristorante Panorama—will also be offering special discounts for the evening.

Here’s a general roundup of some of the style events that will be open to the public:

Margot & Camille Optique (47 N. 3rd St.): Check out some super chic specs during a couture eyewear photo shoot and custom-made trunk show.

Three Sirens Boutique (134 N. 3rd St.): A trunk show debuting Typhaney B. Jewelry’s spring collection. You’ll also have a chance to meet the local designer while knocking back a few glasses of wine.

Moko Organic Beauty Studio (55 N. 3rd St.): Learn and unwind while taking part in a free “How to Make your Own Aromatherapy Products” class.

Poliform Varenna (210 N. 3rd St.): The international furniture line will be holding a grand showroom opening with hors d’oeuvres from the Starr Group.

Third Street Habit (153 N. 3rd  St.): They’ll be launching their summer collection in addition to offering a one-night only sale on all seasonal wares.

Sugarcube (124 N. 3rd St.): The work of local artist/designer Danny Fox will be on view in addition to items from Butcher Shop Rehab.

Smak Parlour (219 Market St.): Check out a trunk show featuring local artist, Sultana Maria’s jewelry collection.
