Your Closet: There’s An App For That

I don’t know about you, but the more clothing and accessories I stockpile—especially with all my new summer additions—the harder it is to keep track of what the hell I have in the jungle that is my closet (cue: first world problems).

And then there was Cloth.

Cloth is a FREE app that allows you to track and showcase your limitless style while also compartmentalizing your entire closet with just the click of a few buttons (Think: Cher’s PC in Clueless meets your iPhone/iPad (if you’re some sort of weirdo that hasn’t seen Clueless, you need to run home and watch it on Netflix tonight.)

All you have to do is snap a photo of yourself in an outfit, add some hashtags, make a memorable caption and save! Once you’ve mastered becoming your own paparazzi, you can save your creations to your “wardrobe” under categories varying from everyday to special occasion. If you’re feeling extra spunky, you also have the option of tagging your ensemble a favorite in your collection.

The app even awards “Style Points” based on the amount of photos they snap and share on the Cloth blog and their own social networks. They even just added a nifty “Weather” upgrade where they’ll help you select an outfit that will keep you cool in a heat wave or covered in a thunderstorm.

I’ve been using the app for about a month now and it has definitely saved me a lot of time in the morning. I never have to stress about what to wear again!
