Photos: Best of Style Party
Last Thursday, three of us lowly average Janes here at PW Style got to spend a night pretending we were a bunch of classy broads at Philadelphia Style magazine’s annual Best of Style Party. And while yes, we realize this post might be a little late, we actually needed a full four days to recover (because you bet your ass we took advantage of the elaborate array of free booze at our disposal!).
Anyway, here’s what each of us had to say about the event followed by some of the best shots we were able to get throughout the evening…
Christina: “I was impressed by the amount of dapper dudes – the great suiting really picked up the slack from the less-than-impressive crowd of mini-dresses. Local businesses had some great table setups – from crazy drink concoctions to a candy bar to some go-go dancers in the back lounge…I may not have been blown away by the style, but Philadelphia Style sure knows how to party.”
Kelly: “The Best of Style party was one of the most glamorous events I’ve ever attended. The rooms were packed with Philly socialites who all looked like they just stepped off the runway. We indulged in top-shelf cocktails and stuffed our faces with the city’s best restaurant dishes and I got to feel much more important than I actually am for a night.”
Nicole: Never have I seen so much plastic surgery under one roof. Oh, and it was super glamorous, blah, blah, blah.
