Joan Shepp + Comme de Garcon + Matt Groening?

A batch of fresh inventory arrived at Joan Shepp yesterday including these limited-edition Comme de garcon and Matt Groening tees. That’s right, Matt Groening, creator of The Simpsons, god to a generation that defined slacker as a lifestyle and who rememebr when there was no  internet. The t-shirts feature characters from Groening’s Life in Hell comic strip and are 100% cotton. There are three short-sleeved and one long-sleeved shirts making up the whole collection. We couldn’t help but think these might make an awesome present for that comic-lover in your life, but we don’t know the price yet. We are assuming, however, that it may be equal to just getting the guy some rare, imported Japanese comic, who knows?

Either way, we think Mr. Groening’s first foray into fashion is a success.
