DesignPhilly 2011: Two Local Boutiques Reveal the ‘Faces of Philly’

fop_lookbook_cover-388x600In celebration of this city’s vibrant fashion scene, Arcadia and Bus Stop boutiques have teamed up to put together a Look Book featuring their picks of the hottest fall/winter fashions.  Instead of hiring professional models, the independent boutiques wanted to have real local women rock these unique, eco-friendly fashions.

And so, gracing the pages are none other than their very customers each of whom, in addition to simply looking fabulous, share stories, antidotes about their own personal style and what they love most about Philly.

Featured model, Liz Fullerton even reveals the most embarrassing item in her wardrobe: a get-up she refers to as “the Cameltoepia romper.”

Tonight 6-9 p.m, to mark the launch of “Faces of Philly,” Arcadia’s NoLibs store will be throwing a big ole bash including a fashion photography exhibit by local artist Michelle LaVelle as well as a pop-up shop with all of Bus Stop’s latest shoe styles.

Considering that the book will be free with every purchase made during the party, you’ll definitely want to take advantage of having the best of both stores under one roof.

Here’s a sneak peak of some of the stylish ladies and looks you’ll get to see…
