What else this weekend? Hm, well, I have to miss it, but go and enjoy this for me: The Flaming Lips are playing somewhere on Penn’s Landing as part of the big Making Time dance party. And word on the street is that it’s Philly’s First Annual Brazillian Cultural Weekend and that there will be events on South Street on Saturday and Sunday. Deets can be found here. Have a good one!
Spring stuff at Grasshopper
Spring! Spring! Spring! OMG Spring!
If the temperature that it currently is (47) would just reconcile with the temperature that forecastfox assures me it eventually will be today (61!), you can bet I wouldn’t be inside right now. In fact, I’m going out in the sunshine (cheerily reflecting off the snow remnants?) right after I finish this post. Also, right after I put on pants.
Maybe I will walk by Grasshopper, at 7th and Walnut, which got in some new stuff today and yesterday that also puts me in a springy mood. Temperature has climbed to 48 since I started this post, all the better to appreciate extremely long, leafy earrings.
Grasshopper Has New Hours and a Project Runway Alum That Isn’t Jay McCarroll
The lovely ladies at Grasshopper just emailed to remind us about their new winter hours. We also took a quick look at their website and were pleased to find them carrying Smoke & Mirrors Clothing, the line co-owned by Project Runway alum Emily Brandle.
