Loving these rings by Rachael Sudlow over at Etsy. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design of Photography, Racheal will happily customize most items. Click through for photos of her other work.

Heavens To Etsy: dgordon

Sometimes when shopping, I just like something because it’s pretty. This was the case with dgordon’s work. I think this plate is gorgeous and though it’s listed under “soap dish,” I’d probably use it in a less-likely-to-get-messed-up setting. Available for $20. (Bonus: dgordon insures all pieces over $15 to protect buyers against shipping damage.)

Heavens to Etsy: pinbackattack

My love of Beverly Hills 90210 is pretty unabashed, which is why I was immediately drawn to pinbackattack’s buttons, which feature shots of movie and television stars as well as other fun images. Hailing from Detroit, the lady behind these 1-inch buttons is Alice. She promises to do all her printing on professional Xerox color copiers, so you’ll never receive any watered-down inkjet-printed pins. Check out her Etsy shop or visit her site at www.pinbackattack.com.

Heavens to Etsy: Homemade Handwarmers

Violent wool gloves with tuck and lace patterning here. $49.00

If you ride a bike or scooter, we’re at the point where naked knuckles get a little raw in the evening, especially for people like me with blue fingers by November. Too early for full-on leather gloves, knit handwarmers are a good way to ease the transition. There are tons of handwarmers on Etsy, no need to big-box for this kind of thing.

Knit orange and brown warmers, $15.00.

A somewhat out-there felted mitten and scarf set, $116.

Puffy knit fingerless gloves, $28.00.
