Versace has been having quite the moment lately. First, the all-powerful Gaga wears pieces exclusively loaned to her from the late Gianni’s last collection for the house, for her latest video, “Edge of Glory,” and now comes the news that they are bringing their rock-and-roll sensibility to H&M, in a collabo set to launch this Fall.
News of the pairing-up broke yesterday in a video (which has since been removed?) from Donatella herself where she said that the collection will include iconic Versace moments. Standout pieces of the line, which is slated to include men’s women’s and accessories, are a studded black leather minidress, which Donatella wore recently to close her men’s show in Milan and a sharp tailored blazer for the boys.
Mark your calendars for November 19th, when the clothes will hit 300 H&M stores. And be sure to check out sneak peeks below!

For a few weeks now the industry has been buzzing about Target’s upcoming collaboration with Italian fashion house, Missoni. The collection, slated for release in stores on September 13th is, as expected, chock full of Missoni’s iconic zig-zag prints as we see in these newly-surfaced images of the campaign shoot.
Starring an actual Missoni herself, Margherita, who is heiress to the house, the ad spot features 60’s style shift dresses and blazers for the ladies and rad cardigans for the boys. Headscarves and regular scarves help round out the accessories offerings. And how cute is that luggage?!
Get ready to see zig-zags all over come Fall.

When you hit the later half of your twenties, the wedding invitations seem to come fast and furious. And in my case, (and I’m betting many others’ too) Summer seems to be the gettin’ hitched season.
With no less than 4 to attend this summer, I’ve recently began the daunting dress search. After all, shopping for wedding attire can bring with it a few concerns: you wanna look good for the people you haven’t seen in awhile , you don’t want to underdress/overdress, it’s gonna be hot as hell, you want to be comfortable enough to dance all night, etc etc.
So to get the ball rolling, we did some preliminary shopping and now we present to you our top 5 nuptial-appropriate summer dresses.
If you have more than few dollars to spend (lucky you) and are into vintage-inspired pieces, may we suggest this dress available at Walnut Street retailer Joan Shepp? For those on a strict budget, Forever 21 provides an endless assortment of slinky little frocks on the cheap, real cheap. In case you weren’t personally invited to fashion’s big night – the Met Costume Institute Gala in NYC celebrating the work and life of Alexander McQueen taking place TONIGHT, perhaps this is the next best thing. And everyone’s invited.
Fashion darling and risk-taker Daphne Guinness, she of the skunk-hued mane and Gaga-esque ensembles, will be getting ready for the ball, live inside of Barney’s windows in New York City.
There will also be a livestream from 4-6pm EST tonight for people outside the Big Apple to get in on the action too.
Can’t wait to see this one!
