The Dream of the 90s is Alive in Fashion

Some models come and go while some leave a lasting impact on the fashion industry and beyond. Case in point, the iconic Supermodel Era of the 90s, whose vibrant personalities and versatility were just as important as the designs they were wearing. Models such as Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell took the world by storm and epitomized not only the glamour that came with being the most successful models in the industry, but the fun and lightheartedness of it all, from their professional relationships/friendships with their peers, designers and photographers to the high spirited runway shows where smiles and personality were hardly a rarity like they may be now.

In the great big pool of fashion and all it’s variety, I am always in the mood for the daring, free spirited and charming fashions of which these models are reminiscent. In Muse Magazine’s March ‘12 issue, we’re given Lady Doll, photographed by Mariano Vivanco, where the legend of the supermodel is alive and well.
