Before heading home from work next Wednesday (March 21), be sure to stop by Adresse (1706 Locust St.) between 4-8 p.m. and help them celebrate the arrival of two French spring collections: Rochas and Bouchra Jarrar.
Guests will be treated champagne, macaroons and the musical stylings of DJ Botany 500 while getting first dibs on all their new spring designer fashions and accessories. The Center City boutique is actually one of only four stores in the U.S to carry Jarrar’s latest collection. After working for Balenciaga, the rising French fashion star made her debut in 2010 to much acclaim.
Her newest collection, as always, focuses heavily asymmetrical cuts and strong graphic lines. Expect a lot of very sophisticated work-appropriate pieces, lovely wrap gowns and some killer trousers. Meanwhile, Rochas’ fifties-inspired collection is marked by kitsch prints and classic silhouettes, capped off with headscarves and cat-eye shades.
