When it comes to Fashion Week in New York, I always have a “so close and yet so far away” feeling as a Philadelphian. There’s a blog that always manages to make me feel like I am in the thick of it though. The Cut, New York Magazine’s punchy, funny and sometimes, downright brutal fashion blog, not only has a NYFW newsletter that you can sign up for in order to get the most up-to-date trends and news but they also have one of my favorite NYFW photography columns, Hot Shots. There’s nothing like having a collection of photographs that encapsulates the raw excitement and artistry of what’s happening in the Lincoln Center. By the end of NYFW the collection of photographs filed under “Hot Shots” will create a varietable lookbook of what happened backstage and on the runways. Basically, you’ll feel like you were there, it’s just that you might be wearing your sweatpants instead of Celine.
