Flipper, don’t f*** with me!

Tyra Banks has a phobia of dolphins, believe it or not. Yesterday she faced that fear on her show, The Tyra Banks Show, by getting into the water with one at SeaWorld. Now, I didn’t see the episode, sadly, but I appreciate Tyra coming out and admitting to the masses that she fears these gentle Einsteins of the waves. Phobias are serious, often linked to anxiety disorders.
I have claustrophobia, which is really bargain-basement stuff, neither interesting or uncommon. But I also have severe emetophobia, which is generally a fear of throwing up. My twist on that is a fear of seeing other people throw up. You can read about the most traumatic and most humorous instance of this in my life here. It involves a boat.
I praise anyone who comes out and talks about their phobias, no matter how strange they are. They’re irrational, yes—think: fear of balloons, for instance—but they’re very real for the person who experiences them.

Yes. I understand phobias.
I have anauptophobia, and philophobia.
I’m scared of staying single, however i’m petrified of falling in love.=[ Anyways, People created Tyra Banks bashing websites about her fears. I find them very wrong.
I can’t understand for the life of me why Tyra would be afraid of dolphins. But, for whatever reason, she is… Good for her for admitting it (knowing, I’m sure, she’d be mocked for it) and facing her fear. We should all be so brave.
i still love tyra. she’s just being true to her self and to the people…
