I was looking for a photo of Yannick Murphy today because I’m reading her book Here They Come, and I wanted to see what she looks like. I’m always jealous of young female fiction writers—I got a B.A. in creative writing, and haven’t done crap with it since. If the writer’s not as pretty as me, I feel better. Isn’t that dumb? That’s really grasping at straws for self-esteem. But don’t tell me you don’t do that shit too.
Somehow, in my search for Yannick, I stumbled upon **Jess’ Site**, which is the cutest teenager site ever. At first I thought it was a parody, that’s how good it is.
