Liz, it was great to see you and the room was standing room only!

Your story touched a lot of people. Thank you.

Everyone had a great time. We are hoping for another performance next year.

Liz,
Thank you -for your honesty, your passion and your courage. We spoke briefly,I told you you hold a piece of my heart in Philly (hope you remember).
This is the beginning of getting help for me, it is scary and takes tremendous courage as I am finding out. But your story along with all the supportive souls there at the DBSA have given me just a bit more strength. Baby steps.
Thank you once again. I hope to continue to learn from your kindness, wisdom and honesty.
Be well~

THIS WOMAN IS WONDERFUL!!

Being a North Jerseyite who happened to travel down to Princeton for her speech tonight (unlike Liz meandering up from Philly), I wasn't familiar with this amazing City of Brotherly Love-based blog. And Liz tells her story in person (and empathizes with others, despite her claimed faux pas) with even more passion than she does in her brilliant writing.

I want to catch up with some more back entries, but then I hope to be an active participant on "Trouble" in the future.
