It’s certainly neat but why bother. Given the difficulty in getting evidence-based treatment for OCD, does knowing that one has a genetic predisposition to OCD do anything more than create fodder for the very obsessing than many of us with OCD experience. Knowledge is power only when it is actionable.

Liz Spikol was born in Philadelphia sometime in the 20th century.
