With heart transplants, somebody else dies when you take that heart, you need to be committed to living in as much as possible. That may sound rough but it's something I thought about a lot before applying to be on the kidney transplant list and I have stuck by it. Of course I'm not this guy and I don't know what he was going through. Part of me feels very angry at this man too, not even knowing him or his situation, but just knowing that he took a heart that someone else died waiting for and then threw it away by suicide. Their problems are over but it's always the friends and family who are left to pick up the pieces. It's part of grieving for many people, and in many ways it makes sense. I also don't think you should feel bad about your feelings. I know that's impossible at times, though...
