June 1st - is that tomorrow? I just now realized there's an issue of time involved to comment on this before you leave - most likely I'm already too late. But just in case, though, I thought I'd comment because I have a sort of vague familiarity with the area of your vacation... The San Juan Mountains are in a very remote part of Colorado, if I remember correctly. If you want to really get away from it all, I guess you've chosen a good spot. Despite my many years of living in the Denver area, I don't think I ever got to that part of the state. I think it's the same general area where someone fleeing court-ordered forced drugging in Michigan once escaped to (as described in a post on your blog a couple years ago: http://trouble.philadelphiaweekly.com/archives/2006/02/wall_street_jou.html#comments ).

Anyway, I hope your expectations for rejuvination are fully met. You certainly are traveling far from home.

"Kirsten Dunst is not so much a partier as a party pooper."

According to the Wikipedia article about her, she brought her illness into the open to "highlight the struggle faced by so many other successful women." I would say the asinine party pooper statement from the Star-Ledger just underscores part of what we mentally ill people are struggling to deal with.

Don't forget her role as Amy in Little Women, loved that show. I'm not surprised, takes a party pooper to know one I guess ;)
