Funny or Offensive?
We haven’t done one of these for a while, so I thought I’d share this, from The Onion’s YouTube channel. From what I understand from the comments, the woman who participated as the “guest” may have a muscular disease that simply resembles anorexia. Just FYI.

I think the makers of that video find the obsession with weight, weight loss and calories offensive; and to that extent I’d have to agree with them.
“I saw the brocade. It had to be inside me.”
Okay, now that is funny.
Eating disorders, mmm, maybe not so much, but their deadpan delivery of sneaky and satisfying caloric savings is high-larious.
And no, as a matter of fact, I didn’t know I could shave off a few fat grams simply by nibbling my car’s gear shifter rather than the upholstery. Delish!
Liz,
This is so hysterically funny! What a perfect send up of weight loss AND those hideous morning “news” shows.
Thanks for the laugh out loud.
Sherry (crying uncontrollably because she can’t get her baby to look young enough–but, happily, who has a half-eaten box of tissues right at hand)
