Funny or Offensive?: Bunny Suicides

My friend Laura just hipped (verb?) me to this comic, which has been around for a few years, in differing forms. Something about the bunny’s face cracks me up.

Hilarious, I own both books and they are both brilliant.
My favourite is the bunny who rigged up a magnifying glass to focus the sun on his forehead.
If we can’t laugh we cry.
That bunny’s face looks like a tushy to me!
That comic is inaccurate. You can’t divide a bunny, they can only multiply.
There’s a whole book of them. They’re hilarious—way too elaborate and outlandish (like the one above) to be offensive or to be considered a how-to manual…to me, at least.
Coming right on the heels of your vlog about suicide I guess we should say this is offensive. But it is not. It is hysterical. I agree with Exactsciense….we have to keep laughing.
I wouldn’t think there’d be anything offensive about Bunny Suicides. Sure, suicide isn’t really a joking matter, but when done in such an adorably lighthearted way, one would have to be either hardcore political or hardcore depressed to take offense.
I bet this is how Happy Bunny will die!
