		<description>This seems to show how being found &quot;not guilty by reason of insanity&quot; can sometimes result in even more severe punishment than would&#039;ve happened if the person were simply found &quot;guilty&quot; of the same charges - at least in the long run.  The terms of the conditional release seem designed to be disabling, and to make compliance almost impossible.  I emailed a note about this to Wisconsin Governor Doyle several weeks ago (in response to a Mindfreedom email alert), but don&#039;t know if it did any good in terms of any kind of leniency being granted.  So many of the powerful nowadays seem to think of the powerless as being some kind of alien species, so there is no limit to how much abuse they are comfortable with having them endure.</description>
