Liz Spikol was born in Philadelphia sometime in the 20th century. She started writing about her experience as a person with mental illness in 1999, while employed at Philadelphia Weekly as the paper’s managing editor. Aside from serving as that paper’s web editor, music editor, staff writer, senior editor, executive editor and a host of other random roles that she couldn’t make up her mind about, she has also worked as a Spanish teacher, as a Certified Peer Specialist during Philly’s system-wide transformation and as a communications specialist for a prison reform organization. Currently, she works at the Mental Health Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania and writes book reviews for PW. Cute and clearly a “message film” as it shows a cat and a squirrel getting along. Well maybe not a “message film” but we, supposedly the most evolved of all species, can learn something from their relationship.
Ohmigod. That is so cute! It really is amazing to see the squirrel and cat play together. I had a pet bunny who used to play with our dog. Robbie would chase Mr. Bunny around and around the lilac bush. They’d stop and rest a few minutes, then continue the game–with Mr. Bunny chasing Robbie in the opposite direction. Robbie used to play this game with our cat, but the cat died. I have no idea how he convinced the bunny it would be fun, but he did.
That was very cute. Mercifully, the computer I’m using now has no sound.
