You people are oddly silent these days. I hope my blog is working right. If you’re having trouble commenting, let me know.

Hi, Liz – I’ve noticed the same thing. Must be all the pollen in the air, all that remains of people’s incomes. Distracting worries? Everyone feeling great and breaking the internet addiction? Or twittering their valuable time away?
John
Have you heard the one about two psychiatrists walking into a bar…
Sorry, I don’t really have a joke. Just wanted to comment. Sometimes things are so crazy, there are no words. But I definitely like your site. I visit everyday, even when I am at a loss for words. The web would not be the same without your site.
I am lurking … not a big commenter … just a reader
Reader – lurker. Just so you know.
Please don’t imagine that fewer comments indicate lack of readership.
Hi Liz,
I’m a new reader, hence lurking to get the “flavour” of your blog.
I’m fast becoming a fan though.
I’ve got you on my feed reader. I don’t comment often, but read most of the things you write.
Hi Liz,
My comments and hits have gone down the toilet in the last week. Maybe it’s too hot to be on a computer.
Maybe the sagacious John is right. Blame Twitter. I still haven’t tried it. I am worried the cat might try to eat it.
I commented on one of your recent posts. It was the one about turning down the documentary. How can we tell that you read our comments?
I think Martha raises a valid question, it’s part of the reason why I don’t often comment here.
This post has inspired me to begin to comment. I’ve been a silent lurker up until now.
And although it would be nice to think that you have the time to read all of our comments, I don’t expect it at all. You’re a busy woman, and it’s enough for me that you’re sweet and generous enough to keep up this blog. Thank you.
